Helen Mandel
I use a number of different techniques and styles in my work. I sometimes concentrate on local scenes, sometimes abstract pieces based on shapes from nature or everyday objects, drawing together a range of objects by collage, threading, layering. I always look for a unique aspect to bring out. I regard everything around me as a source of interest to create new work, and enjoy both working on my own projects and collaborating with other artists.

I enjoy sketching in and around my local area, and have done so for a few years now, creating pieces with humour and affection. I hope that you will enjoy looking at my selection.
